Complete lack of control? I can’t think of very much that I can do here that I would actually want to do elsewhere. Maybe you could suggest some things?

When I was posting here, no modifications to themes were allowed. Maybe that’s changed – or maybe that’s OK for you (looking at your 6/11/07 post it appears this is what you wanted) – but it wasn’t what I was looking for. I have programming skills and wanted to personalize the appearance and function of my blog. I’m also not saying that it is a bad thing, only that it wasn’t what I wanted. As patricksperry points out, “you get what you pay for” so that is what I’m doing – paying for a host where I have almost complete control.
